This song is both a love song to my extended family as well as a testament to the importance of having a place to feel at home.

For years, I always felt like an outsider, uncomfortable in my own skin. The home was never just a place, that's why I never found it. It was on the inside.

Surfing, a productive career, music & art help me experience the world and find my place in it.

This song was originally written and recorded in the Sierras during the winter of 2018 taking many excursions to Mammoth Lakes, CA. I write my best songs when in nature.
